Wellness Nurse (LPN) FT or PT

Location: Selbyville, Delaware, USA; in-person care in a senior living community.

Salary: USD 36–38 per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being.
• Provide direct nursing care with an emphasis on holistic wellness.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
• Assist with training and monitoring medication administration.
• Supervise certified nursing assistants and other care staff according to regulations and community policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance in line with federal, state, and local standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current LPN license; RN applicants may also be considered.
• Experience with residents who have Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, methods, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn new applications.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting or supporting residents up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting.
