Electrical Engineering Intern (Embedded Systems)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; mostly office-based and in engineering labs

Salary: €800–€850 per month, pro-rated for any part-time working agreement

Global marine technology and systems business developing products for marine, recreational vehicle, specialty vehicle, and related industries.

What you will do

• Contribute to projects involving next-generation energy, charging, battery, and connected power technologies.
• Write, test, and refactor C/C++ or Python code for embedded processors.
• Research and evaluate technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
• Document designs, specifications, and test results.
• Support project-based deliverables under the supervision of an engineering mentor.
• Participate in engineering-lab activities and, when required, field tests.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a HAVO, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, ICT, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in an office and engineering-lab environment in Amsterdam.

Nice to have

• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of embedded-device design and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies.
