TL;DR
HR Advisor (Employee Relations): Providing generalist HR support on employee relations cases, employment legislation, absence management, redundancy consultations, and organisational change with an accent on policy guidance, manager coaching, and case management. Focus on handling disciplinary and grievance matters, resolving complex absence cases, and using people metrics to improve performance.
Location: Meadow Lane, Shirebrook, Mansfield, UK; onsite five days a week at the Shirebrook HQ

What you will do
- Provide proactive generalist HR and employee relations support to HR Business Partners and employees.
- Advise employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Handle disciplinary, grievance, appeal, redundancy, TUPE, and absence management cases.
- Coach and upskill managers in people management and employee relations responsibilities.
- Support organisational change, new structures, and process implementation.
- Monitor people metrics, KPIs, and trends to improve performance and prevent recurring issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar employee relations or HR role.
- Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, appeal, absence management, and redundancy cases.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR.
- Strong discretion, confidentiality, communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively, solve problems, and work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Good analytical and systems skills with a customer-focused approach.

Hiring process
