Senior Associate / Vice President - Private Debt

Location: New York, NY; full-time, onsite role

Salary: $185,000–$200,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead private credit deals with junior associates and oversight from senior vice presidents.
• Perform in-depth valuation analysis of private companies and prepare due diligence materials, screening analyses, and investment committee memoranda.
• Present investment opportunities to the hirify.global Private Debt team and investment committee.
• Lead the legal documentation process, with oversight based on experience.
• Manage deal and portfolio monitoring analysis and support fund marketing and existing client requests.
• Train and mentor junior associates across deal processes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, private or public credit investment funds, and/or private equity.
• At least 3 years of direct private credit or private equity experience; at least 5 years for a Vice President candidate.
• Strong technical foundation in corporate finance and accounting, including financial modeling and valuation.
• Excellent academic credentials, including undergraduate performance and GPA.
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, written and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas orally and in writing.
• Initiative, creativity, attention to detail, integrity, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects collaboratively.
