Analyst/Associate, Private Strategies (CRE Equity Acquisitions)

Salary: $110,000–$180,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Underwrite and execute new commercial real estate acquisitions and structured opportunities.
• Manage business plans for existing CRE assets, including extensions, refinancing, dispositions, and value-creation initiatives.
• Build and maintain complex investment, valuation, portfolio roll-up, and performance models.
• Prepare Investment Committee memos, presentations, and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
• Support sales and refinancing processes by evaluating bids, coordinating due diligence, negotiating contracts, and managing closings.
• Collaborate with Risk, Portfolio Management, Finance, operators, joint-venture partners, brokers, and service providers.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, real estate operations, finance/accounting, or real estate private equity.
• Experience with asset-level underwriting, valuation, asset management, or real estate sponsor-developer/accounting work.
• Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Argus, and strong writing abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail, integrity, initiative, and effective teamwork.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Experience across multifamily, industrial, student housing, retail, hotel, and office real estate asset classes.
