Staff Engineer Software Eng (Angular)

Location: USA — Remote; availability is required during Arizona business hours (Mountain Standard Time) for meetings and collaboration.

Salary: $132,600–$182,250 annually, depending on experience, plus a target annual bonus of 20% of base salary.

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and document complex enterprise-scale digital platforms and architectures.
• Provide hands-on technical direction and coordinate the work of onshore and offshore development teams.
• Review business requirements and technical analysis to define implementation approaches with Solution and Enterprise Architects.
• Lead development, configuration, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, and unit-test coverage for digital applications.
• Support complex technical environments, application performance improvements, system administration, and Tier 2 and 3 IT issue resolution.
• Contribute to developer performance reviews, hiring, and promotion decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, and/or 10 years of related experience.
• At least 8 years of software development experience focused on web and mobile technologies, including highly transactional, mission-critical multi-user systems.
• Mastery of software development practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, Node, Bootstrap or Material Design, HTML5, CSS3, frontend build and testing tools, Git, Jenkins, and code analysis tools.
• Experience with RESTful web services, eCommerce optimization, A/B or multivariate testing, Drupal, cloud architectures, and DevOps practices.
• Must be able to work during Arizona business hours; this position is not sponsorship eligible.
