Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node)

Annual salary: $90,000–$125,000

What you will do

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build, deploy, maintain, and scale microservices on AWS using serverless cloud infrastructure.
• Develop responsive customer interfaces with Angular.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and AWS Q.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, mentoring, and CI/CD delivery through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript with foundational Node.js and RESTful API knowledge.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue and responsive interface development.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Git and Visual Studio Code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, learn new technologies, apply first-principles thinking, and take ownership of work.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Clean Code principles and Test-Driven Development.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture or messaging systems.
• Interest in fintech or the automotive industry.
• Interest in AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Exposure to Java or C#.
