Senior Clinical Support Specialist (Interventional Technologies)

Location: Remote within the United States, Illinois; travel up to 40% required for training, product launches, and internal meetings.

Salary: $78,400–$133,400 annually, plus potential bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary product support subject matter expert for the Opsens portfolio.
• Provide advanced clinical and technical support to physicians, cath lab personnel, field employees, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex product, procedural, and clinical issues involving pressure guidewire technology and associated SGT systems.
• Support product launches, evaluations, installations, customer implementations, and field escalations.
• Partner with R&D, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Quality on customer feedback, product investigations, complaint reviews, root cause analysis, and product improvements.
• Develop clinical and technical training, documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles; document findings in Salesforce and provide scheduled hotline and after-hours support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Cardiovascular Technology, Biomedical Engineering, a related healthcare field, or equivalent clinical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in an interventional cardiology or cath lab environment.
• Advanced knowledge of cath lab workflows, interventional cardiology procedures, pressure guidewire technology, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience supporting interventional cardiology devices or other medical technologies and interacting directly with physicians during procedures.
• Strong clinical problem-solving, presentation, training, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Current or previous experience as an RN, RCIS, cath lab technologist, or cardiovascular technologist is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with FFR/iFR physiology systems or other interventional cardiovascular devices.
• Clinical education or product support experience with a medical device manufacturer.
• Experience supporting commercialization or new product launches.
• Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and complaint handling.
• Bilingual English/French or English/Spanish skills.
