Sterile Supply Solutions Specialist (Medical Devices)

Location: Remote within the United States, with an ideal candidate based in the West Coast or mid-America regions, including Texas, Colorado, and nearby states. The role requires in-person presence at customer and potential customer healthcare sites, up to 70% domestic travel by air and car, and occasional weekend work.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead consulting engagements, including preparation, customer communication, implementation support, and formal recommendations.
• Conduct onsite sterile processing assessments and serve as the surgical instrumentation and sterile processing expert.
• Inspect and evaluate surgical, laparoscopic, and sterile container systems and related products.
• Work with operating room personnel, physicians, sales representatives, Consulting Operations, and healthcare customers.
• Identify root causes, recommend remediation options, troubleshoot non-routine issues, and manage complex projects independently.
• Prepare and deliver clear presentations and communications to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Requirements

• CRCST certification from HSPA or equivalent healthcare industry experience.
• Four to six years of experience in perioperative services, healthcare sterile processing, or a related industry; alternatively, at least eight years of related healthcare industry experience.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, medical supplies and equipment, hospital sterile processing, supply chain, and acute care perioperative services.
• Knowledge of AAMI, AORN, JCAHO, CMS, OSHA, FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, time management, and independent decision-making skills; proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 70%, work at customer clinical sites, pass vendor credentialing clearances, and meet applicable vaccination and immunization requirements.

• BA or BS degree.
