VP British Columbia - REMS (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; applicants must be authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis

Base salary: CAD 180,000–220,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide executive leadership for property management operations across British Columbia, with emphasis on Class A office assets.
• Set and execute strategic priorities aligned with national objectives, client goals, and regional growth.
• Oversee portfolio operations, tenant satisfaction, service delivery, budgets, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop Directors, Regional Managers, and property professionals, including succession planning and employee engagement.
• Build senior client relationships, support proposals and pursuits, and identify new management mandates in the office sector.
• Partner with leasing, asset management, construction, project management, accounting, brokerage, and capital markets teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive commercial real estate experience with significant leadership responsibility.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale Class A office assets and understanding tenant expectations, building operations, and market dynamics.
• Proven executive leadership experience across scale, complexity, and organizational change.
• Property management license in British Columbia with BCFSA required; a Managing Broker’s License is an asset.
• Advanced financial skills covering budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and asset performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law and leases, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency with property management systems such as Yardi, Power BI, or Angus.

• Managing Broker’s License.
• RPA, FMA, CPM, or Urban Land Diploma certification.
