Shift Supervisor, RIPET

Location: Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada; fly-in, fly-out rotation of 7 days, 7 nights, and 14 days off

Base salary: $134,000–$140,000 CAD annually, based on experience, education, and skills.

What you will do

• Lead and support safe, reliable, and efficient terminal and vessel loading operations.
• Supervise shift teams and maintain performance, staffing, housekeeping, and operational standards.
• Oversee rail car connection and disconnection, rail schedules, yard movements, LPG refrigeration, and VLGC vessel loading.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, Maximo work orders, equipment isolation, and lockout/tagout activities.
• Develop operating procedures, support MOC and project execution, and optimize rail and vessel logistics.
• Lead incident reporting and initial investigations, corrective actions, employee training, and progression planning.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of gas plant or terminal operations experience with demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• At least 2 years of control room operations experience; DeltaV experience is preferred, while other operating systems are accepted.
• Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certification; Rail Training certification is required.
• Experience with Windows-based applications and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions, prioritize work, operate independently, and support team development.

• Exposure to EHS and PSM management systems, including Maximo and Intelex.
