Senior Director, Test & Product Engineering (Power Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Define and execute strategy across test and product engineering for power semiconductor modules, power ICs, and controllers.
• Lead product execution from silicon bring-up and characterization through qualification, yield ramp, and sustaining operations.
• Develop and deploy wafer-sort, final-test, and characterization solutions, including ATE platform standardization and test-time reduction.
• Resolve yield excursions, test escapes, customer returns, and manufacturing issues across fab, assembly, test, and OSAT sites.
• Partner with Design, Product Line, Quality, Reliability, Applications, Operations, and manufacturing teams on product performance, cost, quality, and readiness.
• Own budget, headcount, capital planning, KPIs, hiring, employee development, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of semiconductor experience across test and/or product engineering, including leadership of global teams.
• Strong technical background in power semiconductors, including Si, SiC, GaN, modules, or power ICs.
• Proven experience with yield ramp, cost optimization, high-volume manufacturing, ATE, characterization, and yield analysis.
• Experience driving cross-functional execution across the full product lifecycle, from development through production.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center power architectures such as AC-DC and DC-DC.
• Familiarity with power module packaging, thermal behavior, and high-current test methods.
• Experience with statistical yield analysis, reliability and qualification methodologies, test automation, and manufacturing data analytics.
