Senior Product Manager (CTG)

Location: Bethesda, Maryland; must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States, and all work must be performed within the United States. Candidates in the DMV area are preferred.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and location.

What you will do

• Define, prioritize, and deliver product features aligned with business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints.
• Use user research, usability findings, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to guide product decisions and advocate for end users.
• Translate product vision and feature ideas into user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done with Business Analysts.
• Partner with the Product Owner and Agile teams across Engineering, UX, and QA on backlog refinement, releases, and Agile ceremonies.
• Maintain product roadmaps, timelines, and release plans while managing scope, dependencies, feasibility, and resourcing risks.
• Define KPIs and success metrics, monitor product effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement and platform modernization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years supporting technical software or web-based product development and 6+ years as a Product Manager or Product Owner for digital products.
• Strong understanding of human-centered design, software development lifecycles, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience launching and continuously improving products or major features in complex, policy- or data-driven environments.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, along with strong problem-solving, communication, consensus-building, and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and have United States work authorization.
