Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Location: Joliet, Illinois; the project will be located in Minooka, Illinois. Full-time, on-site role.

Salary: $134,000–$152,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, from budgeting, bidding, and cost control through client relations and closeout.
• Lead RFP responses, presentations, pitches, and preconstruction efforts from schematic design through final budget approval.
• Manage owner and subcontractor contract reviews, project financial reporting, budget management, and cost control.
• Organize and guide internal and external project teams, including scheduling, quality control, field operations, and subcontractor coordination.
• Develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers through mentoring, training, and professional leadership.
• Support business development, client relationship management, recruiting, and company training programs.

Requirements

• 9+ years of construction project management experience, or equivalent experience based on degree level: 5+ years with a bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a master's degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in commercial construction, with a solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, financial management, drawing review, and lump-sum bid preparation skills.
• Experience managing field operations, including scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• References, a project list, and a resume are required.
