Focus on standardizing maintenance practices, coordinating facility and equipment repairs, managing budgets and contractors, and planning complex capital projects across production and facility infrastructure.
Location: Reed City, Michigan, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do
- Lead maintenance, plant engineering, and die shop associates across multiple shifts.
- Standardize preventive and predictive maintenance practices, spare-parts management, and CMMS usage to improve equipment uptime.
- Manage maintenance and facilities budgets, annual spending, cost-reduction initiatives, and capital investment projects.
- Coordinate repairs, equipment installations, equipment moves, utilities, HVAC, compressed air, grounds, janitorial services, and external contractors.
- Plan and oversee facility modifications and construction projects, including estimates, bids, layouts, contracts, and inspections.
- Develop technical training, apprenticeships, SOPs, safety meetings, and department work instructions.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field; a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Management Systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and PLC programming; experience with electrical systems, plumbing, and metal fabrication.
- Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments, including potential confined-space exposure, and lift up to 50 pounds.
