Clinical Specialist - Interventional Technologies (Vascular Closure)

Location: GB Remote; London based. The role primarily supports customers in the United Kingdom and provides clinical support to distributors in the Nordic countries. Regular domestic and EU travel is expected at 50%.

What you will do

• Provide clinical case coverage, procedural troubleshooting, and support for vascular closure procedures.
• Serve as the primary clinical resource for product education, in-service training, and technical discussions.
• Meet physicians, hospital clinical teams, decision-makers, and administrative staff to understand clinical needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrate the clinical value and proper use of company products, linking clinical data to key messaging.
• Coordinate local education and training programs, including program setup and staff education.
• Share account information, competitive insights, opportunities, and inventory updates with the sales management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science.
• 5+ years of directly related experience in a hospital setting or the medical device industry.
• Strong clinical orientation and experience with products used in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, vascular surgery, or cardiac surgery.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence clinicians, nurses, and laboratory technicians.
• Analytical skills, financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain records and process reports.
• Knowledge of the medical device market, customer territory, Microsoft Office systems, and effective account collaboration.

Nice to have

• Medical training as an RT, RCIS, surgical technologist, RN, NP, or first assistant.
• Previous experience with vessel closure products.
• Experience providing clinical education and training to staff members.
• Experience calling on interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff.
