Engineering Technician - Reliability (Power Electronics)

Location: Andover, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $26–$33.50 per hour

What you will do

• Create and maintain electrical reliability test setups in environmental chambers.
• Perform electrical testing and interim product qualification testing for new and existing products.
• Assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic devices, including experimental and prototype models.
• Work with small, intricate components using microscopes and soldering irons, including MSL reflow of products.
• Maintain and repair qualification equipment, circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and test equipment.
• Enter, track, and maintain product qualification quality records and report results to area management.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to identify electronic and mechanical components.
• Computer literacy and competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work onsite in Andover, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• IPC solder certification.
