Maintenance Reliability Manager (Warehouse Automation)

Location: Weighbridge Rd, Shirebrook, Mansfield, UK; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Develop and oversee the warehouse reliability and maintenance programme for equipment and operational systems.
• Analyse equipment performance and operational data to improve reliability, productivity, efficiency, and machine availability.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive preventive maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Lead SME and trainer roles through coaching, development, and performance feedback while collaborating with shift managers, operations, safety, and quality teams.
• Manage vendors, contractors, equipment purchases, installations, repairs, contracts, service agreements, KPIs, reporting, and maintenance documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse or industrial reliability and maintenance, including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of material-handling equipment, conveyor systems, warehouse systems, and automation technologies.
• Proficiency with CMMS and other maintenance-management software.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and senior-management presentation skills.

• Certified Reliability Leader, Six Sigma, or Maintenance Management certification.
