Team Lead – Nightshift (Manufacturing)

Salary: CAD 23.14–31.51 per hour

What you will do

• Lead the assigned production area by communicating schedules, goals, performance expectations, and team assignments.
• Coordinate assembly and sub-assembly operations, perform hands-on production work, and maintain efficient workflow and on-time completion.
• Conduct process audits, safety sweeps, employee training, and daily reviews of 6S, tools, fixtures, and material availability.
• Resolve issues involving assembly processes, materials, tools, BOMs, engineering items, and non-conforming products.
• Support prototypes and new product launches by reviewing BOMs, work instructions, drawings, and assembly plans.
• Participate in continuous improvement, lean, problem-resolution, safety, and factory acceptance testing activities.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Ability to facilitate training, influence others, and coordinate work in a demanding production environment.
• Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel; ERP experience is desirable.
• Ability to use hand tools safely, perform production assembly, and apply corrective and preventive actions.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a team.
• Completed or in-progress technical college or university degree.
