Senior Analyst, Project Cost, Transmission

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary.

Annual salary: $115,730–$128,590, commensurate with experience, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, forecast, and report project budgets, contracts, cash flows, variances, trends, and completion costs.
• Review bid specifications, change orders, invoices, vendor and contractor performance, and material contracts.
• Evaluate the cost impact of scope and productivity changes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate project work orders and purchase orders and liaise with finance, accounting, tax, purchasing, and stores teams.
• Prepare cost performance, productivity, benchmarking, and special-study reports.
• Maintain the Project Cost Commitment Program and provide actual labor-hour, quantity, and productivity data for project planning and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; a finance degree is strongly preferred.
• At least five years of experience in cost-related work required.
• Strong analytical skills in estimates, budgets, cash flows, plans, schedules, and cost control.
• Knowledge of cost and schedule specifications, contract administration techniques, contract types, and contract applicability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software, especially Excel; familiarity with Eversource accounting, budgeting systems, and UVLs is desirable.
• Eversource will not provide immigration-related visa sponsorship; applicants requiring sponsorship to start employment will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge.
• Experience preparing clear written, oral, or graphical reports.
