Automotive Service Estimator/Parts Specialist (Automotive)

Location: 551 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, South Carolina, United States. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; weekends are closed.

Salary: Up to $65,000 per year for highly qualified candidates.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain the shop’s dispatch system, schedule work, and distribute service tickets based on workload, repair complexity, parts availability, and guest needs.
• Review digital vehicle inspections, maintain accurate repair logs, prepare estimates, and explain repair recommendations clearly to guests.
• Coordinate with technicians to keep repairs within specifications and the time promised to guests.
• Manage the complete parts process, including ordering, receiving, verification, staging, inventory control, pricing, returns, and warranty claims.
• Build relationships with parts, tools, and other external vendors while coordinating inventory and pricing.
• Coordinate shop equipment maintenance and support service department supply and repair planning.

Requirements

• Prior automotive industry experience is required; commercial parts experience is required.
• Experience in automotive sales, service advising, writing, estimating, or shop operations is preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work orders, appointments, deadlines, and administrative records in a high-volume shop.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications.
• Ability to remain on your feet for most of the workday and occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 pounds.
