Automotive Technician Support and Training Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Troy, Michigan, United States; onsite customer training and extensive travel throughout North America required

Base salary: $59,840–$82,280 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support by phone, email, and in person for assigned aftermarket product lines.
• Troubleshoot and explain sensor programming, installation, wireless technology, and mobile app usage.
• Plan and deliver engaging technical training onsite at customer locations and through virtual webinars.
• Prepare, translate, update, and validate training documents, videos, presentations, and e-learning content.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management on customer issues, product improvements, testing, and technical documentation.
• Attend trade shows and customer events, document customer communications, and maintain technical support records.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience with automotive electronics installation and repair, wireless technology, and mobile app support.
• Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong customer service, communication, presentation, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and travel extensively throughout North America.

• Coaching, education, or knowledge-transfer experience.
• Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, tire industry, or auto repair environments.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
