Waste Profiler (Environmental Solutions)

Location: San Jose, CA, USA; onsite

Pay range: $22.05–$30.30 per hour, with the actual range depending on the hiring locality.

What you will do

• Review waste paperwork and samples for completeness, treatment and disposal safety, and compliance with applicable regulations and permits.
• Identify potential waste stream problems and direct materials to the appropriate department or treatment facility.
• Assist customers with completing waste profiles accurately and on time.
• Review waste recertifications to confirm ongoing regulatory and permit compliance.
• Coordinate third-party vendor shipments to alternate Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities.
• Provide technical support and liaise between operations and sales.

Requirements

• Knowledge of RCRA as it relates to waste characterization and waste processing protocols.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, TSCA, and applicable state regulations.
• Understanding of third-party vendor treatment capabilities and waste stream routing.
• Combination of education and related experience.
• At least two years of experience in a related field.
