Receiving Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee receiving, inventory transactions, material storage, replenishment, and allocation of parts to projects.
• Maintain material availability for the production floor and manage the clear-to-build process.
• Manage master, shipping, and build scheduling and communicate customer order status.
• Run the cycle counting program, investigate inventory and BOM discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in JDE.
• Direct daily work for warehouse and shipping personnel, including training and safe stock-handling practices.
• Coordinate shipping readiness, carrier pickups, finished-goods picking, and complete order shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working across warehouse, receiving, shipping, and production-support activities.
• Knowledge of warehouse methods, inventory control, purchasing, requisitioning, and reporting procedures.
• Ability to coordinate materials and resources, train employees, evaluate performance, and work independently.
• Ability to spend most of the working time on the production floor and perform frequent walking, standing, reaching, pulling, stooping, climbing, crouching, or crawling.

Nice to have

• Lean Manufacturing experience, especially logistics, replenishment, PFEP, kanban, or pull systems.
