Electrical (Lead Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Designer)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Lead or support electrical engineering design activities for Oil & Gas projects, depending on level.
• Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, reports, load lists, equipment specifications, datasheets, and cable schedules.
• Develop single-line diagrams, cable routing, lighting, earthing, small power, and equipment layout designs.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection coordination.
• Review vendor documentation and coordinate with clients, vendors, engineers, designers, and other disciplines.
• Manage design deliverables, schedules, resources, revisions, and quality requirements for lead-level positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a diploma in Electrical Engineering or Drafting is accepted for the Electrical Designer role.
• Lead Engineer: 12–15 years of Electrical Engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
• Senior Engineer: 10–12 years of Electrical Engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
• Design Engineer: 8–10 years of Electrical Engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
• Electrical Designer: 5–10 years of experience preparing electrical drawings and layouts.
• Knowledge of ADNOC requirements, international standards, project specifications, safety regulations, and strong communication and coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience on ADNOC projects.
• Experience with CAD, SmartPlant Electrical, or equivalent tools.
