Manager - IT Supplier Management (Memphis, TN)

What you will do

• Develop and improve IT supplier management policies, standards, processes, governance practices, performance metrics, scorecards, and reporting.
• Lead strategic relationships with technology suppliers, consulting partners, and service providers.
• Manage vendor evaluations, RFx processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, renewals, Statements of Work, and service-level agreements.
• Monitor supplier spend, budgets, forecasts, invoices, cost savings, licensing optimization, and purchasing leverage.
• Assess supplier financial viability, operational performance, and risk while managing escalations and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT leadership, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Information Security, the Project Management Office, and business stakeholders, while coaching the IT Supplier Management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, including managerial experience.
• Experience creating and managing IT supplier management policies, governance frameworks, and operational processes.
• Experience managing suppliers across software, SaaS, cloud, telecommunications, infrastructure, consulting, and managed services.
• Expertise in supplier relationship management, vendor performance management, governance, RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract lifecycle management.
• Proven experience leading complex technology contract negotiations with internal and external legal counsel.
• Strong financial, analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, including budgeting, forecasting, invoice review, spend analysis, cost optimization, and SLA management.
