BSN Instructor - Per Diem (Saturday Day Shifts)

Location: Murray, Utah, United States; campus-based position with Saturday day shifts

What you will do

• Prepare, administer, grade, and evaluate nursing course examinations in collaboration with other instructors.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences at assigned healthcare facilities.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students against clinical learning outcomes, providing immediate performance feedback.
• Maintain attendance records, grades, skills check-off forms, clinical records, and program data.
• Support instructional planning, faculty orientation, program assessment, committee activities, meetings, and student advising.
• Use online learning activities and current technologies to enhance instruction while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

• Active, valid license issued by a State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or a higher degree from an accredited college or university, including relevant coursework in nursing, education, administration, OB, pediatrics, or psychiatry.
• At least four years of direct patient-care experience as a registered nurse.
• At least one year of clinical experience within the last five years; clinical teaching may count toward direct patient care.
• Clinical expertise in psychiatric nursing, geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, OB-Gyn, or mental health.
• No previous teaching experience is required; faculty development training is provided.
