Finishing Operator - 11:20PM-7:30AM, Sun-Thurs (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA; C Shift, 11:20 PM–7:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday

What you will do

• Sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods for shipment according to customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Operate manual packaging processes and prepare cores, packaging materials, and finished rolls.
• Track multiple orders and coordinate information with shift and department personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, perform 5S duties and audits, and support equipment maintenance.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities focused on quality and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Strong safety, service, quality, flexibility, and dependability focus.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro transactional functions.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; final candidates must complete a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Nice to have

• 3–5+ years of previous experience.
• Mathematical, mechanical, technical, interpersonal, and logical problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledge of ELS Operating Principles.
• Experience working independently and in a team-based manufacturing environment.
