What you will do

  • Perform CT procedures as ordered while maintaining a high level of technical quality.
  • Advise physicians on the appropriateness of additional or modified imaging studies.
  • Escort and position patients, assist with dressings, and ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Complete procedure logs, paperwork, film processing, and documentation for timely delivery of CT services.
  • Conduct daily quality-control checks, report equipment malfunctions, and arrange preventive maintenance.
  • Manage the requesting, tracking, release, and confidentiality of radiologic films and patient information.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
  • At least three years of experience as a CT Technologist for Level 1; five years for Level 2 and seven years for the Senior level.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist certification through ARRT.
  • Current IV and CPR certifications.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and assist with patients and equipment weighing up to 300 pounds.
  • Ability to work with patients and operate imaging equipment in an environment involving ionizing radiation and potential exposure to blood and toxic substances.
