What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned commodities aligned with divisional objectives.
• Build and maintain an optimal supplier portfolio and implement integrated material supply methods.
• Conduct structured supplier performance reviews and drive necessary corrective actions.
• Develop business continuity plans for critical suppliers and ensure regulatory and ethical compliance.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives by applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) thinking.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to optimize material flow and leverage external supplier expertise.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Saugerties, NY
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
• CIPS qualification Level 4.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
• At least 5 years in a strategic role or experience developing category strategies.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Encompix).
