Lead Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain the quality management system and create related quality instructions, procedures, and customer reports.
• Perform root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continual improvement using 5S and Kaizen lean methods.
• Analyze quality, reliability, failure, and customer satisfaction data using advanced statistical methods.
• Conduct audits, close audit findings, and manage quality reviews.
• Oversee receiving and outgoing quality functions, continuously improving inspection processes.
• Manage supplier performance, audits, scorecards, supplier corrective actions, and collaboration with supply chain and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science and at least 4 years of related experience.
• Hands-on understanding of manufacturing and operations processes, especially in the telecommunications industry.
• Background in quality engineering and familiarity with board and system assembly.
• Experience developing reliability measurements such as MTBF, DOA, IRR, and YRR.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical assembly processes and procedures for standard products.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, manage staff, solve problems, and apply statistical methods including sample-size, error, and confidence-level analysis.
