Plant EIC Engineer (Industrial Automation)

Location: Rogers, Arkansas, USA; onsite

Salary: $75,800–$141,700 (Zone C), $83,400–$155,900 (Zone B), or $90,900–$170,100 (Zone A) annually, plus eligibility for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Lead the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Develop single-line diagrams, arc-flash studies, load calculations, protective-device coordination, and electrical safety programs.
• Serve as the technical authority for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation, control logic, automation standards, and lifecycle upgrades.
• Own the architecture, reliability, segmentation, firewalls, VLANs, secure remote access, and cybersecurity posture of the plant OT network.
• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical and automation capital projects, including scope, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation.
• Lead predictive and preventive maintenance, downtime root-cause analysis, energy-efficiency initiatives, power-quality improvements, and personnel training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing capital projects, equipment installations, system modifications, product introductions, contractors, engineering firms, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong electrical and process engineering knowledge with experience applying engineering standards and specifications.
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or Zero Loss environments, and Management of Change processes.
• Ability to lead plant personnel and contracted resources, communicate across manufacturing functions, and execute work independently.
