Software Engineer Intern (Ignition)

Location: Onsite in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States. Interns are expected to work a full 40-hour week. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Pay: $18.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and test applications using the Ignition platform.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define software requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
• Develop new Ignition applications, write test scripts, and test existing applications.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies.
• Experience or coursework in application development using Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Familiarity with Ignition or interest in learning SCADA/HMI platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Immediate authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
