Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Quality Engineer (Manufacturing): Serving as a technical subject-matter expert to strengthen the Quality Business System, production quality, and supplier quality processes with an accent on root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Focus on driving customer quality issue resolution, implementing error-proofing methodologies, and ensuring audit readiness in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Must be based in Export, PA (Onsite)

What you will do

• Lead customer quality issue resolution and manage corrective action processes.
• Implement error-proofing methodologies and preventive controls across manufacturing operations.
• Support internal, customer, and agency audits to maintain site certifications.
• Partner with Corporate Supplier Quality to drive supplier improvement initiatives.
• Analyze and report on quality data to support strategic planning and operational excellence.
• Utilize advanced quality tools including PPAP, SPC, and gage R&R to ensure product integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality leadership and applying Total Quality concepts in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be based in Export, PA and able to work onsite Monday–Friday.
• Expertise in New Product Development processes and advanced analytical techniques.
• Proven project management experience and ability to interpret manufactured parts drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and quality regulatory standards.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Certified ISO Auditor or ISO Lead Auditor.
