Quality Engineer

Location: Onsite in Export, Pennsylvania, United States, Monday–Friday, with up to 25% domestic travel.

What you will do

• Lead customer quality issue resolution through root cause analysis, corrective action, tracking, trending, and professional customer communication.
• Manage production quality processes, including non-conforming material, MRB activities, product audits, and preventive controls.
• Implement error-proofing methodologies and support tiered daily management and continuous improvement systems.
• Provide suppliers with detailed improvement feedback and partner with Corporate Supplier Quality on improvement initiatives.
• Support customer, agency, and internal audits while maintaining site certifications and audit readiness.
• Advance quality tools and reporting, including RCCA, PPAP, gage R&R, SPC, MOR analysis, data integrity, and process controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical or business field.
• At least 5 years of experience applying Total Quality concepts in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of direct or indirect quality leadership experience.
• Experience with project management, New Product Development, SPC, advanced analytical techniques, Lean, Six Sigma, and quality principles.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and suppliers, interpret manufactured parts drawings, and apply metrology and calibration practices.
• Must work onsite at the Export manufacturing facility and successfully establish employment eligibility, complete background checks, and pass required pre-employment testing.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• PMP certification.
• Certified ISO Auditor or ISO Lead Auditor qualification.
