Branch Underwriting Support Specialist

Location: Lima, Ohio, United States; initial training is in person, followed by a hybrid schedule with work from home available up to 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, agents, and internal departments through verbal and written correspondence.
• Perform complex processing responsibilities assigned by the department.
• Verify that all required underwriting information is available for new business.
• Organize new business into electronic system workflows.
• Review routine renewal endorsements and assign cases to underwriting when required.
• Order, review, and prepare inspections for underwriting.

Requirements

• An associate degree or substantial processing or underwriting knowledge.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and interpret data.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
