Vice President, AI/ML

What you will do

• Lead the ML engineering organization, including hiring, mentoring, retention, and technical standards.
• Own the design and execution of ML systems and platforms spanning data pipelines, feature engineering, deployment, and monitoring.
• Drive infrastructure and tooling decisions for model training, experimentation, and production serving.
• Partner with product, data science, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into production ML solutions.
• Build and scale MLOps practices covering governance, reproducibility, model versioning, and incident response.
• Manage the technical roadmap and resource allocation while representing ML engineering in cross-functional leadership discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on ML engineering or machine learning systems engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or principal-level role.
• Deep proficiency in model training, feature engineering, deployment pipelines, MLOps tooling, containerization, and production serving frameworks.
• Experience building and leading ML engineering teams of 5–15+ people, including hiring, coaching, and talent development.
• Ability to design and own complex systems end-to-end while balancing technical rigor with business pragmatism.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business contexts.
• Experience scaling production ML systems for latency, reliability, monitoring, and cost.
