Sr Program Manager - Procurement

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; hybrid after initial onboarding with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead supplier onboarding and ramp-up activities for strategic platforms, ensuring quality, capacity, cost, and delivery readiness.
• Manage sourcing program timelines, milestones, dashboards, readiness metrics, and risk mitigation plans.
• Translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and supplier capability needs with engineering and operations.
• Identify, assess, and develop suppliers for emerging technologies and long-term strategic platforms.
• Support dual-sourcing, localization, resilience strategies, supplier improvement, make-versus-buy analysis, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive cross-functional reviews, executive reporting, compliance, and timely resolution of supplier risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, supplier development, program management, or NPI sourcing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier capability assessment, and supply chain risk management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-phase programs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

• Project Management certification.
• Experience with supplier ramp-ups, new product introductions, or strategic platform launches.
