Technical Lead (Cloud)

Location: Belfast, UK. Hybrid working requires attendance in the office or on a client site for a minimum of 2 days per week, with some assignments requiring up to 5 days per week on a client site.

What you will do

• Steer technical teams through complex engineering challenges and support successful digital transformation projects.
• Shape and improve the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle across development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications using appropriate programming languages and cloud platforms.
• Work with clients, product, design, engineering, and other stakeholders using agile practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem solving.

Requirements

• Proven experience improving the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and release management strategies.
• Ability to optimize performance through load testing, caching, database query optimization, and application logic improvements.
• Strong knowledge of TDD, contract testing, secure coding, event-driven architecture, and platform migration.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant technologies include JavaScript, Java, .NET, AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Hiring process
