What you will do

• Participate in school Health & Wellness teams and the Response to Intervention process.
• Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, screenings, and other speech-language assessments.
• Develop research-supported speech interventions for classroom implementation.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with student IEPs.
• Write IEP goals, progress reports, evaluation reports, and Medicaid-compliant monthly treatment notes.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other providers in inclusive educational settings.

Requirements

• L-SLP, CCC-SLP, CF-SLP, or SLPA qualification.
• Valid Louisiana license required for SLP positions.
• Degree in communication disorders.
• Clinical or school-based experience providing speech therapy to students, preferably in schools serving low-income families.
• Proof of identity and US work authorization through Form I-9 is required.
• Successful professional reference check, state background check, and verification of applicable experience, certification, and licensure are required.
