Focus on coordinating interdisciplinary care, supervising clinicians and graduate interns, and managing documentation and daily Speech and Language Program operations.
Location: Lowell, MA and surrounding areas; full-time, 40 hours per week, with no weekends or holidays.
Salary: $84,300.22–$107,481.20 per year.

What you will do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across patients from infancy through adulthood.
- Develop therapy plans, referrals, extended evaluations, home training programs, treatment goals, and discharge criteria.
- Prepare evaluation reports, progress notes, reassessments, discharge summaries, and other medical documentation.
- Consult with patients, caregivers, physicians, social services, and other professionals to coordinate care and monitor progress.
- Supervise Speech Therapy staff, coordinate graduate student internships, and provide training on speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Oversee scheduling, hiring, training, workloads, performance evaluations, and daily operations for the Speech and Language Program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a Speech Therapist License.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- At least five years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Broad clinical knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders, with the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and provide in-person care in Lowell and surrounding areas.
Nice to have
- Six years of experience, including two years working with patients with head injuries.
- Training and experience as a Pediatric Dysphagia Specialist.
- Research experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
