Director of Social Media (AI)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work with required in-office presence Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Base salary: $95,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience, plus a 5% performance-based bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale the Social Media function and define its vision, strategy, standards, and operating model.
• Develop social media strategies aligned with client business goals and present campaigns, recommendations, and performance insights to executive stakeholders.
• Lead social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the Social Media team while establishing accountability for client deliverables and performance.
• Drive AI-powered workflows, identify emerging platforms and technologies, and build repeatable systems for departmental scalability.
• Own client portfolio outcomes, execution quality, client satisfaction, on-time delivery, and team performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Proven experience developing social strategies and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience leading and mentoring team members.
• Deep expertise across major social media platforms and emerging channels.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience improving processes, scaling operations, driving innovation, and using AI for strategy, content development, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
