Learning & Development Specialist – Driver Training (Driver Training)

Location: Sydney Olympic Park, Australia; hybrid work model with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Regular travel across Sydney metro, regional NSW and the ACT is required, with occasional interstate and New Zealand travel.

What you will do

• Deliver approved driver training programs for corporate clients.
• Deliver induction and ongoing group training for driver trainers.
• Provide one-to-one, in-car coaching to instructors and support capability improvement.
• Analyse instructor and participant feedback to improve training effectiveness.
• Contribute to training content, delivery approaches and on-road route improvements.
• Maintain training records and complete training administration and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in training, coaching or facilitation, preferably in a services environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt delivery to different audiences and learning needs.
• Ability to coach and assess competency consistently against defined standards and provide constructive feedback.
• Tertiary qualifications, TLI41225 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training and TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence and understanding of adult learning principles.
• Experience developing training content and using LMS, Microsoft Teams, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong planning and record-keeping skills.
