TL;DR
SA Capability Specialist (Retail): Building store capability across South Australia by coaching Store Managers, supporting field leaders, and embedding sustainable training practices with an accent on retail operations, facilitation, and leadership development. Focus on transitioning stores to a Store Manager-led capability model, identifying local capability gaps, and supporting operational change across multiple locations.

Location: 270 The Parade, Kensington, South Australia, Australia; extensive travel throughout South Australia required

Compensation: up to AUD 110,000 yearly

hirify.global Retail operates more than 1,000 convenience, retail, fuel and quick service restaurant sites across Australia, including OTR and Reddy Express.

What you will do

  • Provide hands-on capability support to OTR and Reddy Express stores across South Australia.
  • Coach Store Managers to own and deliver training within their stores.
  • Support field leaders and store teams during the transition to a Store Manager-led training model.
  • Embed training tools, routines and operational standards aligned with the Operations Training framework.
  • Identify and resolve local capability gaps and training delivery risks through targeted field support.
  • Support new training programs, operational initiatives and business change projects across South Australia.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in training delivery, capability building, coaching, learning and development, or retail and store operations.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting operational teams through change and capability uplift initiatives.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently across multiple locations.
  • Understanding of retail, convenience, QSR, fuel or other fast-paced operational environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout South Australia.

Nice to have

  • Qualifications in Training and Assessment, Adult Learning, Coaching or a related discipline.
  • Experience within OTR, Reddy Express or similar multi-site retail networks.
