Technology & AI Trainer

Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Salary: AUD 150,000–180,000 per annum

What you will do

• Deliver instructor-led classroom training to groups and individuals.
• Provide one-on-one technology support and assist users in person and over the phone.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technology queries.
• Train users on Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a focus on advanced functionality.
• Support the implementation and rollout of new systems and processes.
• Create and maintain training materials, user guides, internal FAQs, and knowledge resources while working with stakeholders to improve technology adoption.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Technology Trainer, Application Trainer, Systems Trainer, Digital Adoption Specialist, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience delivering both group and one-on-one training.
• Experience supporting users, troubleshooting technology issues, and training users through new systems or technology implementations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technology to users with varying levels of confidence.
• Ability to create clear, practical training documentation and provide proactive, service-focused support.
