What you will do

• Underwrite Financial Institutions business within delegated authority using rigorous risk assessment, claims history, loss control, and financial analysis.
• Manage the FI portfolio across the GCCNA cluster, monitoring performance and recommending strategy or guideline adjustments.
• Represent the GCCNA cluster in the EMEA Financial Institutions Committee.
• Build relationships with clients and brokers and support business development, retention, cross-selling, and market engagement.
• Contribute to product development, product offering refinement, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical underwriting guidance and training to junior underwriters.

Requirements

• Experience underwriting complex Financial Institutions or Financial Lines business.
• Strong risk assessment and financial analysis capabilities.
• Ability to manage a portfolio against profitability and sustainable growth objectives.
• Ability to work with brokers, clients, Sales, Marketing, and regional underwriting leadership.
• Commitment to underwriting guidelines, audit standards, regulatory requirements, compliance, and internal service levels.
