What you will do
- Lead and supervise internal audit engagements across business development, strategy, M&A, and the investment life cycle.
- Support audits covering project delivery, asset and platform management, engineering, and operational QHSE.
- Manage assigned audit teams, review working papers and audit issues, and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.
- Prepare draft audit reports, coordinate quality reviews, and submit deliverables to senior management and process owners.
- Conduct follow-up audits, support annual risk assessments, and contribute to operational plans and KPIs.
- Manage auditee and service-provider relationships, including fieldwork supervision and performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- At least 8 years of progressively senior experience in auditing or advisory, including business development and M&A transaction reviews, financial modelling, or equivalent work.
- Experience auditing corporate and business-unit processes.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing, accounting principles, professional auditing standards, ethics, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- This role is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Nice to have
- CFA, CPA, or ACA qualification.
- CIA or CFE certification.
