Risk & Underwriting Senior Analyst

What you will do

• Develop and maintain complex pricing models for international group underwriters.
• Evaluate, price, and modify plan designs for renewals and new business in the large corporate segment.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts while balancing profitability and revenue.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends and patterns that may require changes to healthcare benefits.
• Collaborate with client managers, brokers, sales, and clients to align product and pricing expectations.
• Improve stakeholders’ understanding of technical underwriting topics and recommend options for managing future costs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of insurance experience in finance, underwriting, actuarial, or data analytics functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including modeling and reporting.
• Ability to query large datasets using SQL.
• High numeracy, accuracy, ownership, and time-management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Studies, or a related field is preferred.
