A commercial bank with a Group Audit function providing independent assurance, consulting, and control improvement services to the Board of Directors.
What you will do
- Lead regular, special, specialised, and complex audits in line with audit standards and bank policies.
- Plan audit assignments, perform required testing, identify potential risks, and assess control effectiveness.
- Prepare and review reports for the Board Audit Committee, Board of Directors, CEO, and management.
- Issue audit observations, recommend internal control enhancements, and develop action plans for remediation.
- Conduct investigations, special assignments, and whistle-blowing reviews, sharing findings with management.
- Organise and supervise team activities, monitor audit programmes and risk registers, and support change initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in operations and financial audits, credit reviews, or information systems audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science.
- CPA, CA, CIA, or another relevant professional certification or specialised experience.
- Ability to lead complex audits, evaluate risks and controls, prepare executive reports, and supervise audit teams.
