Salary: $76,405–$94,381 annually for Southern California; the amount is determined by the specific job location. Annual bonuses or incentives may also apply.

What you will do

• Assess the strengths, weaknesses, and training needs of retail mortgage processing employees.
• Design and deliver onboarding, process, and professional development training programs.
• Develop or oversee classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
• Lead structured learning experiences and monitor the quality and application of results.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update programs as processes, tools, and industry practices change.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in training or a similar field.
• High school diploma.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage products and services, including correspondent or retail lending, sales, operations, and capital markets.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance requirements, rules, regulations, and industry standards.
• Intermediate mortgage industry experience.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
