Salary: USD 82,000–85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage daily dining department operations, including staffing, scheduling, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
• Develop and implement dining policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate culinary and dining staff while building a high-performing team.
• Prepare nutritious, high-quality meals and accommodate special dietary needs and texture-modified food requirements.
• Manage labor, occupancy, expenses, purchasing, vendors, inventory, budgets, and food service records.
• Maintain food safety, HACCP, temperature logging, equipment safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• College degree or certification, preferably in culinary arts, hospitality, nutrition, or business.
• At least two years of culinary services administration experience, preferably in senior living.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
• Strong organizational, time management, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
